Why psychedelic therapy?
Using psychedelics helps you navigate from talking about the problem, to going to where that trauma is showing up in your body or being reenacted in the therapeutic relationship. This gives you the opportunity to bring tangible solution and a felt sense of relief to the problem.
Is psychedelic therapy for me?
If you want to shift your healing journey from managing and coping to embodiment and connection, psychedelic therapy is for you.
What medicines would I use in psychedelic therapy?
Ketamine and cannabis are fully legal and are incredibly effective for trauma resolution at low to moderate doses.
Do you take insurance?
I do not accept insurance and can offer you a superbill to submit to your insurance upon request.
I already have experience with these medicines. How would this be different than recreational use?
The Psychedelic Somatic Therapy model uses somatic and attachment based interventions with the support of the psychedelic medicine to bring healing to your nervous system. It is a very different experience than recreational use and can be beneficial for people who may or may not have experience with these medicines.
Do you provide the psychedelic?
You are responsible for obtaining and bringing the medicine to each session. I can help you connect with legal providers for the medicines.
Where are the sessions held?
What if I live someone where other than Southern California?
Preparation, integration, and stabilization sessions are held in person, in my Newhall office, or via telehealth. Psychedelic and trauma reprocessing sessions are held in-home.
Because this form of therapy is so unique, many clients find benefit from traveling from out of town for intensive psychedelic sessions.
